Professional training, learning and development: University courses in Europe

Information, training and technical knowledge sharing represent the basis of real deployment of the PV sector. Within its mandate, the Working Group 2 of the EU PV Technology Platform prepared an overview of the main courses and trainings currently in offered in Europe. The analysis has been conducted during the second part of 2008 and represents a starting point towards a best overview of PV courses and trainings at European level, in particular on University and post-University classes and professional trainings. 

This analysis has to be considered as a living document that will be updated in a continuous way by WG2 whenever new information about existing or new courses and trainings are available. Everybody is invited to forward this kind of information to WG2.

To this respect, some new criteria of course's selection will soon be taken into consideration in order to better answer to the different expectations. The database will represent a good opportunity to better link the educational to the industry and other related PV sub-sectors.

We call all the interested stakeholders in Europe to send us new or updated information about related PV courses and trainings in order to keep the list as much updated as possible.
