7th General Assembly of the European Photovoltaic Technology Platform - “Photovoltaics: Engine of European Innovation and Development”.
The conference "Photovoltaics: Engine of European Innovation and Development" held on 19 June 2012 in Amsterdam this year looked at the important role of Photovoltaics (PV) as a mature technology. The new SRA and the research priorities of Horizon 2020 were also be important points on the agenda.
Participants included different European stakeholders as representatives of the industry, research community, business experts and other professionals at large.

The 7th General Assembly was hosted by the magnificent The Beurs van Berlage, a building on the Damrak, in the center of Amsterdam which was designed as a commodity exchange by architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage and constructed between 1896 and 1903. It is now used as a venue for concerts, exhibitions and conferences.
